Astera's Windows Desktop methodology is thorough, proven and field-tested. We have designed a five-phase implementation methodology that will make the migration process seamless and complete, including;
Environmental Assessment Phase
Discover and interview key resources in order to better understand the client's environment
Analysis Phase
Astera identifies and defines the customer business needs to ensure the Windows solution truly benefits their organization and improves productivity. This phase also utilizes and Asset Discovery tool that will all Astera to determine the migration path for hardware an software. It also provides the client with software licensing verification to ensure all licensing requirements are met.
Design Phase
Astera's System Engineers design a customized solution using technology that best integrates into customer's existing environment (discovered in the Assessment Phase) and implement the features to help run their business more efficiently. All software is tested in a lab and on-site prior to pilot deployment.
Pilot Phase
Astera deploys a prototype of their customized desktop for up to twenty systems to ensure all expectations are met.
Closure Phase
Astera will provide the customer the reports generated from the each phase, and will also provide knowledge transfer to their internal IT staff in order to ensure the continuing operation of desktop deployment.
